The" Best Community Program  Award" was won by the Green Spaces program at the People for People Gala. Green Spaces is a program implemented in partenership by MOL Romania and the Environmental Partnership Foundation. The program achieved significant results in 2009.

Here are some of the most relevant results:
The direct involvement of more than 27.000 people in the implementation of 59 funded projects
The rehabilitation/creation of 28.455 m² of urban green spaces
The planting of over 6.200 trees and bushes and 3.800 flowers
3 new permanent exhibition and National Parks and 9 thematic paths' in protected areas
Biodiversity Day organized in 3 protecteed areas
The day of the protected area organized in 9 reserves
Promotion of the importance of protected areas in the case of 6 National Parks, 4 Nature Parks and 17 IUCN category IV natural reserves.
