The Environmental Partnership Foundation publishes the Sustainable Development component-specific annexes and Guide, within the framework of the second round of the NGO Fund, part of the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA) 2009-2014, financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. The general objective of the Sustainable Development Component is to support sustainable development and improving the state of the environment in Romania, through the contribution of NGOs and through public participation. This component will support projects that fit into the following main areas of interest: climate change, biodiversity and landscape protection, ecotourism, advocacy and environmental watchdog /ecological awareness and increased public participation in environmental decision-making and environmental education. The total amount allocated for this Component, in the second round of call for proposals is 1.400.000 Euros. Funding is offered to non-governmental organizations.
